Explore Charlottetown at your own pase while learning about Charlottetown and PEI while on an Audio Tour . This Tour is very similar to our in person walking Tour but can be enjoyed at your own leisure . While on the Tour you will learn about some of the biggest attractions such as St. Dunstan’s Bascilla and Province House . You will also learn about PEI’s unique History such as Shipbuilding , The Bank of PEI , Prohibtion , The Great Car Ban and much more . Your narrator Josh is a 6th generation born Islander and his family has called the Island home since 1806. Josh will also tell some stories that involve his Family History as well. You will also learn stories that you won’t find in History Books . This Tour can be enjoyed by the whole Family.

 

The Audio Tour starts at Confederation Landing Park Gazebo which is the Gazebo right beside Peakes Quay and the big Canada Flag and big Parking Lot.

Down here we will talk about the general History of PEI. We will also talk about shipbuilding down here as well .

Great George Street Historic District

Stop: 15 minutes

 

We will spend lots of time on Beautiful Great George Street . Here you learn about some of the buildings and surrounding areas while learning interesting stories . You will also pass by the Beautiful Great George Hotel and learn about its history and St.Dunstans Basilica Church which you can visit if you choose .

Learn about Canadian History and learn about the 1864 Charlottetown Conference that led to Canada becoming a Country and the History behind Province House

Stroll around Beautiful Victoria Row while learning about the area and Prohibition .
